Capcom is preparing to release another digital showcase for their upcoming action RPG, Monster  Hunter Rise Sunbreak, an expansion for Monster Hunter Rise which includes new monsters, new locales, new silkbind moves, and more. As the game inches closer and closer to its June 30th release date, many hunter fans are still hoping to see many new and returning monsters to be (re)introduced into the game, as well as the reveal of more silkbind skills, as only one new silkbind move has been revealed for a select few weapon types.

Announced over on the official Twitter page, as well as the official YouTube channel, it has been announced that the next digital event is currently set for May 10th, 2022 at 7:00 AM PDT (9 AM EST).

One of the newest features for the game which was only briefly mentioned in a short Twitter post was the option to reduce hit spark effects during combat. Monster Hunter Rise is a very bright and colorful game when in motion, as it can be quite difficult to keep up with the game's pace when there are many things passing across the screen, so the inclusion of this new feature is a very welcome change.

Many users have been hoping to see their favorite monsters come back, and with the history of the series having so many to choose from, it's anyone's guess as to which monsters will be making a return. Some of the more popular requests include Gore Magala, Agnaktor, Gammoth, and several others. Personally speaking: I would love to see the inclusion of monsters that were exclusive to titles such as Monster Hunter Frontier, which was a Japan and PC exclusive. Blinking Naragacuga is a variant of one of my favorite monsters in the series, and getting to see what this creature could do in a modern Monster Hunter game would be amazing. Of course, one can only hope.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be available on June 30th, 2022 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
