Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley has apologized to his wife, Montana Yao, and their son after cheating on her with Larsa Pippen. Yao seems to be in a somewhat forgiving mood … at least when it comes to Beasley

Beasley took to Instagram and posted a lengthy note for his wife in an attempt to reconcile. The message doesn't mention Pippen by name, but it's clearly about what happened between them.

Malik Beasley was seen out in public with Larsa Pippen toward the end of 2020, which prompted Montana Yao to file for divorce. Beasley and Yao have a 2-year-old son together named Makai. Beasley claims he broke things off with Pippen.

Yao responded to Beasley's apology, via TMZ:

“Makai and I do appreciate Malik's apology,” Yao said on Instagram on Monday. “It's hard to own up to bad decisions and apologize especially publicly so it is really appreciated.”

“My main priority has been and will forever be my son so I'm glad if/when he looks back on all of this one day he can see his dad publicly apologized to us for publicly hurting us.”

“This is a step forward in healing for me and also having Malik be a part of Makai's life because he does deserve to have a father in his life and one who loves him.”

“At the end of the day, we are both Makai's parents so I am praying for his sake we can all move forward away from the anger and hurt to be able to raise him with love, respect, and happiness on both sides.”

While Montana Yao seems willing to make amends with Malik Beasley, she's still feuding with Larsa Pippen over this whole drama as they continue their war of words.
