The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers met in the NBA Finals four straight years from 2015 to 2018. As a result, the two teams developed a fierce rivalry, both on and off the court.

The Warriors went 3-1 against the Cavs in the Finals. However, Cleveland won the 2016 title in historic fashion by erasing a 3-1 series deficit to win the championship.

The 2015-16 Warriors may have won an NBA record 73 games during the regular season, but LeBron James and the Cavs spoiled the Dubs' magical season in the end.

The Warriors-Cavs rivalry is over now that LeBron is playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cavs franchise won't get back to the NBA Finals anytime soon. With that said, we take a look at some of the most savage moments from the Golden State-Cleveland rivalry.

1. Draymond Green's interview after 2015 title

The Warriors defeated the Cavs in the 2015 Finals in six games. Cleveland played the entire series without Kevin Love (dislocated shoulder) and Kyrie Irving only played in Game 1. Uncle Drew suffered a serious knee injury after bumping knees with Klay Thompson in Game 1 and was lost for the rest of the series.

During the Warriors' championship parade, Green trolled the Cavs by saying, “They suck, yup.”

2. LeBron James-Draymond Green fight in Game 4 2016 Finals

The Warriors were on their way to going up 3-1 in the 2016 Finals. With 2:46 left in the fourth quarter of Game 4, LeBron and Green got into a fight, and the entire series changed from there.

Green was suspended for Game 5 after the NBA assessed a Flagrant 1 foul from his scuffle with LeBron. A statement announcing the discipline said that Green “made unnecessary contact with a retaliatory swipe of his hand to the groin” of James.

3. LeBron James takes high road with Klay Thompson's comments

Before Game 5 of the 2016 Finals, Thompson said LeBron got his feelings hurt and that's why he went off on Green in Game 4.

As he's done throughout his entire career, James took the high road during his press conference, but he did laugh off Thompson's comments.

4. LeBron James trolls Warriors after 2016 title

During the Cavs' championship parade in 2016, LeBron trolled the Warriors with a shirt that read “Ultimate Warrior.”

Maybe James was paying homage to the late wrestler, but odds are The King was definitely taking one last jab at Golden State after completing the best comeback in NBA history.

5. Cavs troll Warriors at LeBron James' Halloween party

LeBron hosted a Halloween party during the 2016-17 season, and the Cavs trolled the Warriors with some cookies.

A decal on one of the decorations read “3-1 lead” while two cookies — in the shape of tombstones — read, “Stephen Curry 2015-2016” and “Klay Thompson 2015-2016.”

6. Draymond Green trolls Cavs with his own shirt

The Warriors got their revenge on the Cavs in the 2017 Finals after signing Kevin Durant in the offseason of 2016 (after losing to Cleveland). Golden State won the 2017 Finals in five quick games.

At the Dubs' title parade, Green wore a shirt that said “Quickie.” The shirt used the “Q” from the Quicken Loans Arena logo, home of the Cavs.

7. Tristan Thompson-Draymond Green scuffle

In Game 1 of the 2018 Finals, Green and Thompson got into a scuffle in overtime, but it didn't stop there.

After the Warriors swept the Cavs in the Finals and players from both teams went onto the court to shake hands and exchange pleasantries, Green snubbed Thompson and the cameras caught it.

Draymond, though, supposedly went up to Thompson at an LA nightclub to apologize to the Cavs' center, but Thompson wasn't in the mood and another fight broke out.
