The NBA 2K20 ratings are slowly being delivered to fans ahead of the games release, and during a live stream yesterday for the game, some more ratings have been dropped. While everyone debated over who should be ranked where, the developers behind the game did announce the ratings for the top 5 rookies in the upcoming game.

In a move that should shock no one, the number one overall selection, Zion Williamson, comes in at number one in the rookie ratings. The rest of the rookies that slot in after him follow the trajectory of the 2019 NBA Draft, with Ja Morant, R.J. Barrett, De’Andre Hunter, and Darius Garland all rounding out the top five.

While the ratings in an NBA 2K title often fluctuate throughout the season, it isn’t too shocking to see Williamson as the highest rated rookie. Not only was he the first selection in the draft (a move that usually results in the highest rating), but he also was one of the most highly-touted prospect in recent years. Should he play as well as people think he will, his rating could shoot up very quickly.

Elsewhere in the 2K20 ratings, the other rookies ratings should likely be revealed as time goes on, as the company has been slowly but surely announcing more and more ratings as time goes on. While players will have plenty of time to argue about how they’re ranked, they also have time to change it, as the NBA season has yet to even begin.
