Earlier this month, the NBA revealed their list for the “All-Decade” team for this decade. While the list sparked debate amongst the NBA community, the folks behind NBA 2K20 decided to make the team a reality in their upcoming video game.

Earlier today, the game’s social media account announced that brand new legendary teams would coming to the game, the first of which will feature teams based around the various decades of the NBA. While not every decade was announced, the four that they did choose all highlight some of the most legendary players in NBA history. The first four decades – which span from the 1980s until the 2010s – should give fans a great idea of just what to expect when it comes to the legendary teams that will be placed in the game.

So far, the All-Decade teams for NBA 2K20 will feature:

1980s: Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, Kevin McHale

1990s: John Stockton, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon

2000s: Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O’Neal

2010s: Steph Curry, James Harden, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard

The NBA 2K series has done a stellar job at implementing formerly great teams, so expect even more to begin popping up as we get closer to the game releasing. The teams themselves will likely be playable both online and offline when the game launches, so prepare to have some epic matches with your friends. NBA 2K20 launches on September 6 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and is available for preorder now.
