NBA 2K22 MyCAREER mode is a completely upgraded experience this year thanks to new features introduced on PS5 and Xbox Series X. When starting out, you're going to be googling, “NBA 2K22: Should I go to college, G-League, or go straight up declare for the NBA Draft?” We're going to help you make your decision here, letting you know what's going to give you the best experience.

Why go to College in NBA 2K22 MyCAREER

Going to College may delay your NBA signing, but it's the best route towards your NBA career. First off, going to College will make sure you have a sizable social media following before you enter NBA, which means you'll get better endorsements right off the bat. Going to College will also let you play a couple of matches before going to the NBA, which means you'll have the opportunity to improve your attributes and grab a couple of badges. This may also lead to an opportunity to join the NBA G-League, where you can gain even more bonuses for your MyPLAYER.

Why go to the G-League in NBA 2K22 MyCAREER

Going G-League will give you a permanent 5% MyPoints accelerator. This applies whether or not you went to College. While in the G-League, you'll have the opportunity to sign endorsements, building up your brand even before entering the NBA. There really isn't any reason to skip College and go straight to G-League, unless if you really don't have the time to burn.

Declaring for the NBA Draft will get you to the NBA the fastest way possible. However, you might have a hard time if you didn't pre-order the game, as you'd be lacking in VC to upgrade your stats. This will make you very weak compared to other NBA players, and you'll spend most of your time on the bench. So, just go declare for the NBA Draft if and only if you have enough VC to upgrade, or if you're willing to spend extra cash to purchase VC as microtransactions.
