With the NBA 2021-2022 Season nearing its conclusion, this new season is here to welcome back the heroes of the season and to give them the acknowledgment they deserve – and that includes you, the player! And speaking of acknowledgment, here are just some of the rewards and things you can look forward to for sticking with the game for this long. NBA 2K22 Season 6 Guide: New Features

NBA 2K gave us again a great summary of all the new stuff we're getting in the Season 7 Courtside Report.

Season 7 will continue bringing fantastic competition for players on the court. For MyCAREER, players can show the world what they’re made of this season in TKO. TKO pits you against other players, with the winner advancing up a floor, where you’ll face even more fierce competitors. Keep your streak alive and you can earn up to 4XP! The event rewards include Skill Boosts, Boxing Shorts, Boxing Gloves, and 10,000 VC. If you lose, though, your streak will end. You’re allowed to be knocked down three tiers before you’re officially eliminated from the competition.

For MyTEAM, Murals return with 30 Champions and Challengers to compose two magnificent works of art in your collection. To get everyone started, the Level 1 reward in MyTEAM’s Season 7 is Hero Galaxy Opal Zion Williamson! Zion’s powerful style returns from last year, and he will lend his strength to players in completing the Murals this year. Complete the Mural and players will be able to earn an Invincible Joel Embiid!

Season Rewinds & Events

This season will also feature a Season Rewind Domination Tier. In the midst of these intense NBA Playoffs, compete against the MyTEAM-best versions of the current NBA’s rosters for MyTEAM Points, Tokens, Hall of Fame Badges, and Invincible Tim Hardaway for earning all 99 Stars. Hardaway is just months away from being enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame, and his do-it-all Invincible Dark Matter reward represents his legacy, in MyTEAM!

Throughout Season 7, players will be able to enjoy a daily refresh of events. From top-tier player cards appearing as rewards players' favorite mode to newly added Evolutions and more Dynamic Duos, 2K is adding more ways to compete with and expand players' collection for the next six weeks.

Playoff Moment Agendas will also continue to drop alongside the latest performances in the NBA postseason. Pink Diamond, Galaxy Opal, and Dark Matter player cards are available right now from these completed Lifetime Agenda groups, with more coming for the final rounds of the NBA Playoffs. Dark Matter rewards also await players across this Season 7 as the end game comes nearer and nearer.

The W Online

With the WNBA regular season in the way, this season will add more emphasis on The W Online. For Season 7, 2K is featuring a pair of former college teammates and WNBA legends as Hall of Fame tier rewards: Tamika Catchings and Chamique Holdsclaw. This duo helped lead well-decorated basketball coach Pat Summit’s Tennessee Volunteers to a third-straight national title. In the early 2000s, this future Hall of Fame duo duked it out on a regular basis as two All-Star fixtures in the league, and now, players can add them to contact lists in NBA 2K22. Players can also earn a Takeover Perk Picker, 2K Breakthrough Gear, Extra Badge Point, 4,000 total VC, a Seasonal Clothing Bundle, and a Tattoo.
