Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently suggested that there are only three players in the NBA who are untouchable. According to Kerr, those three players are Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, Dubs sharpshooter Stephen Curry and Milwaukee Bucks freak of nature Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As expected, Kerr’s comments blew up simply because he left out his former superstar and current Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant out of the list. But if you look around the NBA today, it’s easy to spot the untouchable players—even if they’re not on the same tier as James, Curry and Antetokounmpo. Who are they? Let’s run it down:

Luka Doncic

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said himself that he’d choose Doncic over his wife. If that’s not dedication then we don’t know what is. Doncic, who was the favorite to win this year’s MVP at the start of the season, could be the face of the NBA in the future.

While that’s still up for debate, it’s clear that Doncic is a superstar who the Mavs will invest in similar to how they did with Dirk Nowitzki.

Kevin Durant

Of course, Durant cannot be left out off the list. Dubbed as the current second-best player in the NBA, the Nets will never (EVER) give up their superstar.

KD is simply the best among the three superstars in the Nets right now, especially when healthy. This is the first time in a long time when Brooklyn has someone of Durant’s caliber playing for them. With that said, it is as certainty that they will do everything to lock him up in the long run.

Jayson Tatum

If there’s one thing we know about Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge, it’s how loyal he is to his young talent. One young talent in particular who can now be considered an NBA superstar is forward Jayson Tatum.

Given Ainge’s history as well, there’s no scenario in which we see him trading Tatum away even for the best of the best players. And who can blame him? After all, Tatum is a stud and it’s best to build around him rather than give the 23-year-old up for someone else.

Anthony Davis

The Lakers are known as a team who take care of their superstars no matter what. AD was acquired thanks to the amount of young talent the Lakers had to give up—which they probably don’t regret for one bit. Besides, they immediately won the NBA title in Davis' first season with the team.

The Brow is untouchable because he’ll be the face of the team when James’ tenure with the Lakers is over.

James Harden

Like Davis’ case, Harden was acquired thanks to the amount of talent the Nets gave up. There’s a reason why Harden forced himself out of the Houston Rockets and found his way to the Brooklyn franchise.

The chances of the Nets trading Harden is slim to none, and he is arguably their second most untouchable player next to Durant.

Zion Williamson

Similar to Doncic’s situation, the New Orleans Pelicans have a rising superstar in Zion Williamson. There’s no way they’re going to give up Williamson for anyone around the NBA, especially after what he’s shown this season.

Unless Williamson wants out of New Orleans (*cough* New York Knicks *cough*), don’t expect him to be in any other jersey.
