New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis is reportedly expected to play for LeBron James' team in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte.

Davis has been dealing with a shoulder injury, and there was speculation as to whether or not he would be able to suit up for the game.

It was reported earlier in the day that Davis would test things in out in warm-ups before deciding, and it appears that a decision has been made, according to ESPN insider Marc Stein.

Things have certainly been interesting for Davis recently after he publicly requested a trade from the Pelicans.

While the expectation was that he could be dealt before the trade deadline, that didn't happen, and it now puts both Davis and the franchise in an unusual spot.

Of course, he's going to eventually land with another team, and he mentioned in All-Star interviews that all other teams are on the table at this point.

But despite him saying that, it's clear that teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and LA Clippers are the front-runners due to previous reports.

Perhaps Davis and LeBron will put on an entertaining show in the NBA All-Star Game to further add to the speculation that the two will join forces in Los Angeles at some point.
