Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had a good weekend as he suited up as a starter for Team LeBron in the 2021 NBA All-Star Game. He was also delighted to be around Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic who saw action in the starting lineup of LeBron James' squad as well.

After the game, it looked like the two-time MVP enjoyed his time so much that he even claimed that he and Jokic should star in their own TV show at some point in the future, via Sergen Kumas.

Antetokounmpo and Jokic found a friend in one another and developed chemistry right from the get-go, thanks in part to them both hailing from Europe. The former spent most of his childhood in Greece while the latter grew up in Serbia.

Aside from finding a new buddy in the league, Giannis Antetokounmpo also had a terrific showing in the NBA All-Star Game against Team Durant. He notched 35 points on a perfect 16-of-16 shooting clip from the field to go with seven rebounds and three assists in only 19 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, Jokic registered six points, seven rebounds, and five assists through 19 minutes played. Antetokounmpo's efficient production along with the huge contributions from the backcourt duo of Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard ultimately powered Team LeBron to a 170-150 victory over Team Durant.

After leading both teams in scoring, Antetokounmpo was eventually hailed as the 2021 NBA All-Star Game MVP. The memorable weekend will certainly help Giannis Antetokounmpo as he continues to lead his team to vie for the top spots in the Eastern Conference for the second half of the season.
