The NBA All-Star Weekend is upon us! As always, the first day of the three-day event has the Rising Stars Challenge, where the best young players in the league play together. This year, the NBA changed the format to a four-team tournament and a game where the first team to fifty points wins.

The result was a level of competitiveness rarely seen during the NBA All-Star Weekend. One of the battles that came down to the wire was Team Isiah's team going up against Team Worthy's team. Isiah's troops rallied from behind thanks to two foul calls on Worthy's players. It led the Lakers legend to drop a hilarious F-bomb on the referees. (via Hoop Central)

For what it's worth, Worthy wasn't the only NBA All-Star coach frustrated at the lack of calls. Gary Payton also begged for the referees to call more fouls, albeit in a less crude way. Who would've thought that the notorious Gary Payton would be the one NOT dropping F-bombs as a coach?

Of course, all of this bantering with the referees are just in good fun. At the end of the end, NBA All-Star events like these aren't taken super seriously, due to the risk of injury. Worthy and Payton talking their talk to the referees are just their way of making the games more entertaining to watch.

On Saturday, the NBA All-Star Weekend will continue with the Three-Point Contest, the Skills Challenge, and the Dunk Contest. Sunday's finale will feature Team LeBron against Team Durant in the revamped NBA All-Star Game.
