Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had a memorable experience in the 2021 NBA All-Star Game. After going through countless battles in the NBA Finals, Curry joined forces with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James for the first time with Team LeBron.

The four-time MVP only saw 13 minutes of action in the game as he opted to take a breather and allowed his teammates to have fun on the floor. Despite playing a short amount of minutes together, it seemed like Curry still had fun as he responded to James' shoutout on Twitter after getting the win over Team Durant on Sunday night:

Curry also seemed elated after seeing action with Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard on the floor as they shared the backcourt of Team LeBron. The backcourt stars engaged in their own 3-Point Contest throughout this NBA All-Star Game:

Both Curry and Lillard were firing from all cylinders, especially from beyond the arc as their high-scoring production allowed Team LeBron to mount a comfortable lead against Team Durant.

With a stellar showing on the floor, both players eventually made a strong case for themselves to nab the 2021 NBA All-Star Game MVP Award. Curry notched 28 points, four rebounds, and four assists, while Lillard registered 32 points, two rebounds, and an assist for their team. It was Lillard who one-upped Curry at the very end with his own string of deep triples, including a half-court heave to end the game after Steph missed his own half-court bomb.

However, it was Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo who emerged as the MVP. The Greek Freak put up 35 points on 16-of-16 shooting from the field to go with seven rebounds and three assists.

With six players scoring in double figures, Team LeBron easily cruised to a 170-150 victory over Team Durant. The win ultimately lifted captain LeBron James to a 4-0 record dating back to 2018 when the new format of the All-Star Game was first introduced.

Despite seeing little resistance from their opponents, Stephen Curry definitely enjoyed himself while playing alongside some of the biggest names in the league. His good outing in the NBA All-Star Game along with his victory in the 3-Point Contest will definitely give him more confidence as his Warriors squad heads to a tough grind for the second half of the season.
