One of the biggest winners coming out of All-Star Weekend has to be the fans. However, there was one particular young supporter who almost got much more than he bargained for after an extremely close encounter with none other than the great LeBron James.

During the shootaround of the highly anticipated All-Star Game on Sunday, James was caught on video almost running over a kid wearing his shirt. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar was looking in another direction and did not see the young boy in his way. Fortunately, LeBron was able to put on the breaks just in time:

The kid was going for a high five, but somehow got caught in LeBron's path. Although he almost got railroaded by a 6-foot-8, 250-pound mammoth of a man, the young supporter did get a very warm hug from his hero, so this was surely an experience he will be taking with him for years to come.

As for the game, it was LeBron and his team that emerged victorious, 178-164, following a 19-point, eight-rebound, and four-assist performance from James himself.

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant — the winner of the this year's edition of the All-Star Game MVP award — led the way for Team LeBron, as he dropped a team-high 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting. Durant also went 6-of-9 from distance, and logged seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a couple of blocks for good measure.
