With the season now over, teams have finished tallying the totals for their merchandise sales. The NBA recently announced its results and not surprisingly, this year's two finalists, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, are once again on top of the rankings for the third straight year.

The Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, and San Antonio Spurs came in at third to fifth, respectively.

Although some of the teams on the list are the ones consistently in the top 10 each year, one of the more surprising ones in this year's rankings are the Milwaukee Bucks, who ended up in eighth place. The emergence of Giannis Antetokounmpo as an elite player, and their playoff appearance this past season may be the reason for their sudden rise in merchandise sales, but it also goes to show how much their fans support their team.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, who are ranked 10th, the debut of Joel Embiid and the vast improvement of their team was enough for their supporters to purchase more of their items.

From shirts, towels, and even other items with the team's logo on it, the fans have continued to patronize them as it proves how proud they are of their team, which represents the city or state they live in. With the arrival of talented rookies and potential big name signings this summer, it can be expected that more teams will vie for the top spots next season, and further increase their sales.
