The NBA champions Milwaukee Bucks aren't sitting silently on draft night. According to reports, the Bucks have decided to trade down in the 2021 NBA Draft in a deal with the Indiana Pacers.

The Athletic's Shams Charania first broke the news, detailing how the Bucks have sent their No. 31 pick to the Pacers in exchange for Indiana's No. 54 and No. 60 picks as well as two future second-round picks:

Adrian Wojnarowski also confirmed the report, except that according to Woj, the Pacers will be sending just one future-second round pick to Milwaukee:

While this might not be the blockbuster deal most folks have been anticipating — definitely not at the same level as the Los Angeles Lakers' swooping in on former league MVP Russell Westbrook — this can still be considered as a significant development for both squads.

The Bucks have decided to part ways with their second-round pick in exchange for a number of assets that will help them build for the future. As proven by their recent conquest, Milwaukee has a talent-packed roster that should be able to formidably defend their crown next season. It's not that they won't be adding a couple of pieces in the offseason to help them with their title defense next year, but it just so happens that the Bucks aren't going to be taking the Draft route.

As for the Pacers, it looks like they are dead set on a particular player for that No. 31 pick. They gave up quite a haul to the Bucks to get this particular pick, so it appears as though they have a clear plan in motion.
