Chet Holmgren is talented and has a bright future. And we have learned over the past couple of weeks that the Gonzaga product is certainly not short on confidence. His most recent comments will excite teams such as the Magic and Thunder ahead of the NBA Draft.

Holmgren made waves earlier this week when he was asked who he believes the best NBA player is.

“Me… in two months.”

And his latest self-prediction only strengthens that narrative.

“I think I can be a 50-40-90 player… and I actually do lift weights and I actually do eat food.”

He is listed at 7-feet tall with an impressive wingspan of 7'6. However, he is listed by the majority of scouts at just 190 pounds. His lanky frame is perhaps the greatest concern in regards to Chet Holmgren's NBA future.

But Holmgren made sure to state that he does indeed eat food and lift weights, in case anybody was wondering.

Holmgren, Jabari Smith, and Paolo Banchero lead the 2022 NBA Draft class. The majority of mock drafts have either Holmgren or Smith being selected number one overall by the Orlando Magic. The Thunder pick second and Houston is third. So there is a high likelihood that Holmgren will end up on one of those teams.

And it wouldn't be at all surprising to see the Magic use their first overall pick in the NBA Draft on him. There are already stirrings that Mo Bamba will leave Orlando in free agency with Holmgren on the radar.

Can Chet Holmgren become a 50-40-90 player? It is possible. He has the talent. The sky's the limit for the 7-footer out of Gonzaga.
