When Kyrie Irving talked about the Earth being flat, he set the NBA world on fire, but he doesn't have the craziest conspiracy theory anymore.

Lonnie Walker of the Miami Hurricanes was being interviewed by ESPN about his NBA combine experience when he dropped his idea.

“When you talk about facts and things of that nature, it’s amazing to me we’ve discovered so much about this world, yet, we don’t anything about this world,” Walker said. “The earth is not flat, in my opinion, but the earth, on my conspiracy, the earth is definitely an illusion.”

As crazy as this idea sounds, he isn't the first to bring up this idea. Last year some scientists came to the conclusion that the earth could actually be a “vast and complex hologram.”

It's similar to watching a 3-D movie in a cinema, according to the study. While we see the pictures as having height, width and depth, they in fact all originate from a flat two-dimensional screen.

Lonnie Walker seems to agree with this type of idea and it seems like he and Kyrie Irving could sit down and have a nice conversation about the earth.

Walker is projected to be a first-round pick, and there is a chance he could be a lottery pick after one year with the Hurricanes. The guard averaged 11.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game as a freshman. He averaged 41.5 percent from the field, and 34.6 percent from the field.

He had a very good showing at the draft combine, so there is a very good chance his stock is rising.
