Duke standout Marvin Bagley III might have upped his stock since he declared for the NBA Draft, but he sure isn't content to play second-best to any of his draftmates.

The lengthy forward has gone from being the third overall prospect to the second among most mock drafts, now the likely pick of the Sacramento Kings at No. 2 after Arizona's DeAndre Ayton is pretty much a consensus to be selected with the top pick; a consensus Bagley is viewing as disrespect.

“It’s disrespectful, and I use it as drive every single day,” Bagley told Tresa Tudrick of 12News Arizona after a workout with the Suns. “At the end of the day, this is all talk right now. Eventually, we’ll have to go on the court, and we’ll have to play. That’s where all the talking ends.”

The talented rebounder and defender has shown his offensive arsenal and impressed, leapfrogging overseas prospect Luka Doncic as the No. 2 pick, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic, after impressing the Sacramento Kings in his recent workout and interview sessions.

The Kings are looking for a sure-fire talent that can help shape the roster into a well-balanced one, and as long as Bagley keeps playing with a chip on his shoulder, he has more than enough potential to be what they've been seeking all along.
