There is no lack of intrigue surrounding several lottery prospects in tonight’s NBA Draft. That includes Michael Porter Jr., whose stock has been swinging back and forth in the lead up to the draft mostly due to concerns about his health.

According to Jonathan Givony of ESPN, a recent medical examination on Porter revealed no reason for immediate worries with regards to the former Missouri Tiger’s condition, but at least one doctor appeared to be not so sure whether Porter would be able to last long without dealing with injury woes.

The results of Porter's full medical examination, conducted by the Bulls, were eventually released to all NBA teams. Representatives of multiple teams that reviewed the information with their medical staffs say those results are encouraging.

“There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with him right now,” one NBA executive told ESPN.com. “But a conservative doctor could still [be concerned about] what might happen down the road.”

Porter recently said that reports about his fragility have been overblown by the media following his canceled workout last week.

The 6-foot-10 versatile forward is still projected to be among the top picks in this year’s draft. His ceiling remains high in the eyes of many, as his combination of size, dexterity, and ability to get buckets from anywhere on the floor sounds very tasty for teams holding a lottery pick. That despite the fact that Michael Porter Jr. only played for three games in college or a mere 53 minutes in total because of a back injury he suffered right in his college debut.
