Highly-rated NBA recruit LaMelo Ball continues to impress in Australia's NBL. On Monday, the 18-year-old phenom put on another show as he helped his side, the Illawara Hawks, to a 98-92 victory against the Adelaide 36ers.

Ball logged 15 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in 30 minutes of play, including this amazing highlight-reel play.

LaMelo has been balling out in the Land Down Under ever since opting to play professionally abroad this season. Instead of staying in U.S. soil and play in the NCAA, the younger brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball decided to take his talents overseas.

Notably, Ball shares the Hawks backcourt with former NBA stud Aaron Brooks, who had himself a ballgame on Monday as well. The 34-year-old guard scored a game-high 31 points along with five rebounds and three assists. Brooks played 10 seasons in the NBA, and surely, his wealth of knowledge in the league is something he can pass on to a young up-and-comer like LaMelo.

Ball will be eligible for the NBA draft next year, and there has been a lot of talk about the 6-foot-6 guard ending up as a high lottery pick next season. As a matter of fact, as mentioned in the caption of the above tweet, there have actually been whispers of the younger Ball being considered as the first overall pick of his class.

For his part, LaMelo is definitely helping his case with his outstanding play in the NBL.
