Disney Springs Marketing Manager Darcy Clark has given the first look at the upcoming “NBA Experience at Walt Disney World Resort” attraction in a recent post on the Disney Parks Blog.

In the post, Clark provided concept art for the project, which is set to open in the summer of 2019. The new attraction has been inspired by the modern architecture of NBA Arenas around the country and will feature just about everything an NBA fan could ask for.

NBA President, Global Partnerships Sal LaRocca, recently commented on the project, sharing, “This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world.”

According to Clark, besides immersive league-related video content and productions, the “NBA Experience” will also feature interactive games and competitions. There will be a retail store and restaurants as well to complete the whole basketball-themed adventure.
