Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night featured a frantic finish that eventually resulted in Andre Iguodala hitting a dagger 3-pointer with 5.9 seconds remaining to lift the Golden State Warriors to a 109-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

But before the triple, there was a whole lot of scrambling, and Shaun Livingston was right in the middle of it.

With the ball in Stephen Curry's hands and the Raptors trying to trap him, Curry fired a dangerous pass to Livingston that was nearly picked off, but Livingston made a terrific catch before passing to a wide-open Iguodala for the game-sealing 3-pointer.

After the game, Warriors big man Draymond Green likened Livingston to former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson for the great catch:

“I always call Shaun a bad receiver. He turned into Megatron tonight for that pass,” said Green, via ESPN.

Livingston played 16 minutes in the win, finishing with six points and three assists, but he made what may have been the biggest play of the night to help Golden State tie the NBA Finals up at one game apiece.

Meanwhile, Green came one assist shy of a triple-double, posting 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine dimes.

Klay Thompson, who left the game in the fourth quarter as a result of a hamstring injury, led the way with 25 points, and Stephen Curry contributed 23. Also, DeMarcus Cousins, in just his second game back from a quad injury earlier in the playoffs, totaled 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in a key performance.

Game 3 is at Oracle Arena on Wednesday night.
