Someone's Bill Russell trophy is up for grabs, as Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal just made a bet on who's winning it all this year between their former teams. The loser would have to give up their own NBA Finals MVP trophy.

Talk about a high-stakes wager.

Dwyane Wade is quite at the disadvantage given that he only has one Finals MVP trophy compared to Shaquille O'Neal's three. Not to mention the fact the the Lakers are heavily favored in their NBA Finals match-up against the Heat.

However, it sure looks like those things do not matter to Wade, as he's all-in with Jimmy Butler and the rest of Heat Nation.

There's a lot of history between these two iconic NBA legends. Shaq was a dominant force in Hollywood as he won three championships with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in the early 2000s — prior to Wade entering the league.

Wade, on the other hand, was an instant star in the league and won his first championship in 2006 with the help of none other that Shaq himself when he signed with the Heat. Their 2006 NBA Finals championship was Shaq's fourth and last title and it was also Wade's first of three rings.

It's safe to say that these two will be watching the 2020 Finals series extra closely. Both the Lakers and Heat have only suffered three defeats in their run to the Finals, with the former losing one in each round and the latter losing twice in the East Finals.
