Former NBA Most Improved Player of the Year winner and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose is the latest to blast Raptors fans for their inconsiderate initial reaction to the Kevin Durant injury.

According to the 46-year-old, the way the fans reacted to Durant's injury was unacceptable, and is representative of how spectators demand so much from the players.

Rose did not only tale a shot at the Toronto Raptors fans who initially cheered for Durant' injury, but his criticism extended to all basketball fans in general. According to Rose, fans put too much pressure on players to perform, and in a way, expect much more from them than what they can actually give.

This is some real talk from Rose here, and the disgusting reaction of some Raptors fans who cheered for the misfortune of the Golden State Warriors superstar is only testament to this fact. Moreover, these are Toronto supporters we are speaking of here, and they are generally some of the most respectful and considerate fan bases we have in the league, so for some of them to have reacted the way they did definitely shows a terribly ugly side of the sport.

Durant's injury appears to be as bad as initially believed, with the reigning back-to-back Finals MVP feared to have torn his Achilles. Nonetheless, the outpouring of support and the inspiring show of solidarity is also able to present a beautiful facet of the game — that at the end of the day, the well-being of any player will be more important than any NBA title.
