Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young is of the belief that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry may hit the 50-point mark in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry scored 17 points in the first quarter of the game, which may have not been all that surprising since the Warriors are playing without several key players.

Kevin Durant continues to be sidelined due to injury, and Kevon Looney has been ruled out for the rest of the series.

Of course, Klay Thompson has also been dealing with an injury, and he was ruled out of Game 3 of the NBA Finals despite wanting to play.

So, Young seemed to be in agreement with many others watching the game that Curry could put on a legendary performance.

Curry assisted or scored on 24 of the Warriors' 29 points in the first quarter, and that should continue to be a theme throughout the game due to the team's injury situation.

If Steve Kerr's squad is going to be able to retake the series lead, they're going to need to provide some help around Curry since the Raptors know exactly who's going to be getting the ball in key situations.

But since it is Curry we're talking about, he could very well put the Warriors on his back and fuel them to victory.
