Pau Gasol and Marc Gasol will make history if the Toronto Raptors win the NBA Finals. However, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is ready to stop that from happening.

Pau and Marc will be the first brothers to win an NBA championship if the latter helps his Raps close out their series against the Warriors. Pau has two championships under his belt, winning in 2009 and 2010 when he was still with the Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers.

Green is determined to spoil the potential record of the Gasol brothers, though. While Green acknowledged that the possible record for the Gasol brothers would be special, he doesn't want them to achieve it, per Josh Lewenberg of The Sports Network.

“I think that's special, but I don't really give a damn about it,” Green said when asked about his thoughts on Pau and Marc setting an NBA record. “I'd rather them not be the only brothers. I'd rather it be no brothers.”

Marc Gasol, whose Raptors actually eliminated Pau's Milwaukee Bucks team in the Eastern Conference Finals, has been a vital cog for Toronto this season. In the first five games of the 2019 NBA Finals, Marc averaged 13.8 points on 60.0 percent shooting while grabbing 7.0 rebounds per game.

Green knows it will be tough for the Warriors to stop the Raptors, who are up 3-2 in the NBA Finals. However, at least he has another motivation to spark the Dubs.
