The injury bug has bitten the Golden State Warriors once again during the 2019 NBA Finals. Center Kevon Looney is the latest casualty.

With the Toronto Raptors leading 12-9 with 5:20 left in the first quarter, forward Kawhi Leonard drove to his right and got past Warriors forward Draymond Green. Looney came in to help but collided with Leonard in mid-air and lost his balance, hitting the Scotiabank Arena parquet floor hard.

To make matters worse for Looney, the officials called him for the foul on Leonard. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Looney suffered a sprained collar bone and has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

Looney exits without scoring a single point in 10 minutes of action. He is averaging 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds this postseason, serving primarily as the Dubs' spark plug off the bench.

Golden State is already playing without 2014 NBA MVP Kevin Durant, who is recovering from a right calf strain he suffered in Game 5 of their second round playoff series against the Houston Rockets.

Warriors fans can only hope Kevon Looney's injury is not that serious and that he will be able to come back sooner than later. The team needs his him to keep Raptors big man Marc Gasol in check, among other things.
