Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam is trying to send a message to the Golden State Warriors; that his Game 1 performance was not a fluke, and he made sure to deliver it emphatically. During the first quarter of Game 2, Siakam finished a Raptors fastbreak attack by catching an alley-oop pass from Fred VanVleet and throwing down a one-handed dunk with authority.

As of this writing, the Raptors are leading the Warriors 47-40 with less than four minutes left to play in the first half. So far, Siakam has six points, two rebounds, and two assists.

Siakam has only been in the NBA for three years, but he's already (arguably) the second-best player in this Raptors team. In Game 1 last Thursday, he led Toronto to its first-ever Finals win by scoring 32 points on 83 percent shooting. He never looked intimidated despite going up against the two-time defending champions, and his mentality hasn't changed.

He's focused on winning a championship.

The Raptors have come a long way to reach where they are now. Prior to the beginning of the playoffs, nobody was talking about them making it to the Finals. However, Kawhi Leonard's phenomenal performance, together with the emergence of guys like Siakam has made Toronto a force to be reckoned with in the postseason.

Even if the Raptors end up winning Game 2, the series is still far from over. The Warriors have enough talent and firepower to turn this series around. However, heading into Oakland with a 2-0 lead will give Toronto all the momentum and the motivation they need.

And that should be more than enough to scare Golden State.
