The NBA has never been more popular in the world of sports and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon with commissioner Adam Silver at the helm.

He is one of the most forward-thinking and progressive commissioners in today's sports landscape. Due to that kind of motivation, the NBA has made gargantuan business deals in the recent past and some other significant changes such as this seasons jersey patch ads.

This year the league is looking to expand its sports promotion by teaming up with Google to make YouTube TV its very first presenting sponsor for the NBA Finals.

Google has signed several sports partnerships recently which offers its YouTube streaming platform as a pay to watch live sports tool which is becoming increasingly popular. YouTube has deals inked with the MLB for the World Series, the Los Angles Football Club, the Seattle Founders, NBATV, NBA League Pass, as well as for the upcoming WNBA Finals and the NBA G League which all run through 2019.

You will notice an updated logo which will feature “Presented by YouTube TV” attached to the NBA Finals presentation logo on television, on the court and in the arena as well as all of the NBA's digital and social media outlets.

A statement was released by Dan Rossomondo, the NBA's Senior VP of Global Media and business development:

Our presenting partnership of The Finals marks another first in our longstanding and innovative history with YouTube.

The NBA Finals on ABC, as well as the WNBA Finals and NBA G League Finals, are pinnacle events, and with YouTube TV we are excited to provide fans with new ways to experience the excitement of these championship series.
