Kawhi Leonard Watch continues post-July 4, as the superstar free agent still hasn't made his decision. FS1's Cris Carter had hinted Thursday there would be no decision on the 4th of July and that it would instead be coming the next day, and he again reiterated that Friday morning:

Carter also noted he believes the Los Angeles Lakers represent the best path forward for Leonard when it comes to winning championships, which is tough to argue given the presence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. If Leonard picks the Lakers, Los Angeles would boast one of the most dominating trios of all time.

Leonard did just win a championship with the Raptors, though, and they would have a great chance of repeating if he returns to Toronto. There were some rumblings over the last few days he was leaning toward a return to the Raptors, which came after suggestions he was definitely picking the Lakers, so all of these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt at this point.

There have been very few leaks about Leonard's process in free agency, and it really does seem like nobody truly knows what he's thinking. Carter has been providing updates on the situation thanks to his ties to Kawhi's camp, but even he doesn't seem to know what Leonard will do.
