Jeremy Lin is one of the most accomplished basketball stars playing inside the NBA G League bubble in Orlando Florida. But being NBA champion and a nine-year veteran did not spare him from receiving racial attacks from his fellow players.

On Friday, the Taiwanese-American guard revealed in a troubling Facebook post that he has become a victim of racism on the hardwood while suiting up for the Golden State Warriors affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors. Lin refused to divulge additional details about the incident, but it's clearly an alarming matter.

The G League brass has already been made aware of the situation and will be conducting an investigation regarding the matter, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Jeremy Lin has long been open about racial issues he has faced all his life. At the height of his Linsanity fame, the 32-year-old playmaker has used his platform to raise awareness about the challenges Asian Americans deal with on a daily basis.

After playing overseas for the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association, Lin returned to the G-League, where ha last played in the 2011-12 season, in a bit to re-ignite his NBA comeback. He has played in six games so far, notching 19.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.6 steals for Santa Cruz.

Despite his fine play, back issues have plagued him this year, something that is likely scaring away NBA teams from picking him up right now.

The league, meanwhile, has taken a big step in raising awareness about racial injustice after throwing its full support to the Black Lives Matter movement last year. The BLM, of course, promotes equality not just for African Americans, but for every minority group getting the same unequal treatment.

But judging by this most recent attack on Jeremy Lin looks like the league still has a long way to go.
