A child in Westerly, R.I. has the coronavirus after getting an autograph from Utah Jazz center and NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert, per Sam Read of NBC10 WJAR.

The NBA suspended the season on Wednesday after Gobert tested positive for the virus. His teammate, Jazz All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell, tested positive as well.

It's worth mentioning that we don't know for sure if the child contracted the coronavirus from the Jazz center.

Rudy Gobert and the Jazz played in Boston on March 6, five days before Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Jazz teammates were upset by Gobert’s cavalier attitude toward the outbreak after he jokingly touched NBA reporters' mics.

The NBA season will be on hold for at least 30 days, probably even more if we're being honest.
