The accolades just keep on coming for two of the most unique big men basketball has ever seen. The Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic have been named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, the NBA announced on Monday.

Antetokounmpo led the Bucks on an undefeated three-game road trip last week, with wins over the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, and Washington Wizards. He was especially dominant on Saturday against Washington, finishing with 37 points and 10 rebounds while going a perfect 17-0f-17 from the free-throw line. Most important among those victories was the win over the Raptors, which earned the Bucks a head-to-head tiebreaker should the teams finish the regular season with the same record. Antetokounmpo, who along with LeBron James will serve as a captain in the upcoming All-Star game, averaged 25.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists on 51.0 percent shooting over the last three games.

Jokic was equally impressive in guiding the perpetually short-handed Nuggets to an undefeated record of their own. Denver, still playing without electric guard Jamal Murray, sandwiched a home win over James Harden and the Houston Rockets between road victories over the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves, also beating the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum a week ago to tie the Golden State Warriors for first place in the Western Conference. Jokic averaged 22.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game over that stretch, offsetting some rare shooting struggles against the Timberwolves by notching a triple-double. He narrowly missed another one game earlier versus the Rockets, finishing with nine assists to go along with 31 points and 13 rebounds.
