The NBA offseason has essentially hit a standstill. However, there has been a trade, even if it isn't a huge one. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Memphis Grizzlies and Boston Celtics are swapping a few players as Kris Dunn and Carsen Edwards will depart from Boston in the deal.

The Celtics are also sending a future second-round pick to the Grizzlies, and all this in exchange for Juancho Hernangomez. This is a strange NBA deal, but the Grizzlies themselves have been very busy flipping players left and right pretty much all offseason long.

As Woj reports, this deal can't be made official until September 15.

The NBA offseason was a busy one but has been halted the past few weeks as the league awaits a blockbuster trade for Ben Simmons if that indeed ends up happening.

As for the Celtics, new general manager Brad Stevens has been very busy, dealing Kemba Walker and acquiring Al Horford while also locking up Marcus Smart to a big extension. The Celtics also acquired Josh Richardson in a trade with the Dallas Mavericks, and this team will look much different than the 2020-2021 roster.

Hernangomez is an interesting get for the Celtics, and the pair of guards heading to the Grizzlies is also an interesting package, and it will be worth monitoring to see what these teams do with these players going forward.
