Charles Barkley was clearly unhappy with Nikola Jokic and the rest of the Denver Nuggets after they got blown out by the Phoenix Suns in Game 2. The former MVP was disappointed about the effort the Nuggets team showed in a 48-minute beating resulting in an embarrassing 123-98 road loss against Phoenix.

Chuck, who's been known to give his hot takes, went off on the Nuggets after he saw the entire team's lack of effort in Game 2 and went on to compare the Nuggets to the Milwaukee Bucks who also fell on a 2-0 hole against the Brooklyn Nets.

“This game reminded me of the Milwaukee Bucks game the other night where they were like ‘we just quit, this game is over, we're not going to compete',” Barkley said after the game (via NBA on TNT). “When you get a day off in between [games], after you get your butt kicked in Game 1, you get MVP the day before, and then you come out and don't give any effort? That team tonight, they packed it in.”

To his point, the Nuggets did have an off-night on Wednesday. Aside from Jokic, no one else showed up for Denver in Game 2. The newly crowned NBA MVP had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists but no one else in their starting line-up got close to The Joker's numbers.

Michael Porter Jr and Paul Millsap both added 11 points while Will Barton added 10 more off the bench but other than that, the rest of the Nuggets basically shot blanks the entire evening.

Denver must now find a way to climb out of this deep 2-0 hole as they try to even out the series with two monumental games at home for Games 3 and 4.
