Charles Barkley shared his thoughts on the apology of Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics to LeBron James.

On NBA on TNT, Barkley went straight to the point and said that he isn't buying the Celtics' guard apology to James. Asked on what his thoughts were, the NBA legend said:

“I didn't like it all. It seemed like he was saying ‘we're losing because of these guys. They're young, they don't know how to win.'

They made it to the Eastern Conference Finals without him last year. I mean, you don't have to tell people that you're a leader. Just be a leader.”

Irving's admittance of calling James and apologizing to him has garnered much controversy among NBA circles. Some believe that Irving should've kept the conversation private. Others went to the very root of the problem and hit Irving's statement on his teammates.

Barkley has built a reputation for being brutally honest and frank. His statements certainly have a lot of truth in it. But for some, it was a class act for Irving to call James and apologize. It could just be the first step of repairing their relationship — the relationship which brought a championship to Cleveland.
