San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan never defeated LeBron James in the NBA playoffs when he played for the Toronto Raptors and The King was with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

DeRozan thought he could escape James when he was traded to the Spurs in the summer of 2018 in the blockbuster Kawhi Leonard trade, but LeBron followed the high-flyer to the Western Conference by signing with the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency.

On the latest episode of J.J. Redick's podcast, ā€œThe Old Man & The Three,ā€ DeRozan had a NSFW response on what it's really like facing James in the playoffs.

Behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers are one win away from winning the 2020 title at Walt Disney World. The 2019-20 NBA season has been James' revenge tour since he missed the playoffs in 2018-19 for the first time since his second year in the NBA during his first stint with the Cavs.

James is not only the only player in NBA history to rank top-10 all-time in points and assists, but the longevity of his career is something we may never see in the league ever again. LeBron has basically been a superstar from the moment he entered the NBA all the way back in 2003 with the Cavs.

As for DeMar DeRozan, his Spurs didn't make the postseason this year. It's the first time the San Antonio franchise hasn't seen playoff basketball since 1997.
