Former Chicago Bulls bad boy Dennis Rodman has added more fuel to the flame that is the Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James debate. This has been one of the hottest topics of late, with ESPN's mega-hit docu-series “The Last Dance” pretty much dominating all basketball talk these days.

According to Dennis Rodman, however, it would be unfair to say that LeBron is at the same level of the great Michael Jordan simply because they were cut from a different cloth.

Dennis Rodman recently made a guest appearance on Mike Tyson's “Hot Boxin'” YouTube show, and the five-time NBA champ (somewhat) explained his point-of-view:

“[LeBron James] wasn’t bought up this way,” Dennis Rodman stated, via Nico Martinez of Fadeaway World. “I had that desire to win, I didn’t give a s**t what it took. I’ll do the dirty work, I don’t give a s**t. At the end of the day that ring is more important. For [Michael Jordan] when he came up he had one thing (to do) – I’m going if I didn’t beat your a** and do my job,”

Basically what Dennis Rodman is saying here is that in his mind, LeBron lacks the killer instinct that Jordan possessed.

Dennis Rodman believes that he and Jordan share this same do-it-at-all-costs type of mentality, which is one of the primary reasons why they were so successful during their time together with the Chicago Bulls.

Unfortunately for James, this is just not something Rodman sees in him. To be fair, though, Rodman has never played with or against LeBron, so this is more of an outsider's perspective.

Nonetheless, Dennis Rodman is still an all-time great, so he is an authority on this matter.
