The Dwight Howard controversy took social media by storm on Saturday night following Masin Elije's accusations that the Washington Wizards big man and some people from his camp threatened him.
Masin Elije alluded in his narrative that he and Dwight used to have an intimate relationship with each other and it was also clear from his words that he genuinely liked Dwight Howard. However, it may also be worth noting that Elije also follows Dwight's Wizards teammate, Kelly Oubre on Instagram.

Does he have some eye candy for Wizards players? I mean, if you look close enough, too, you'd see that he follows Bradley Beal, as well. Nonetheless, these factors could mean nothing in the grand scheme of the controversy. But if this does mean something, it only adds more fuel in the dumpster fire happening within the Wizards.
But regardless, the real issue at hand here is the allegations from Elije. While this could reveal Howard's gender preferences, what's more disturbing is the part where he accuses the former All-Star big man of threatening his life. If the allegations are proven true, Dwight is certainly going to get more heat due to him threatening his accuser. That is a big if, though.
None of these have been proven. As of this writing, we still have not heard from the Dwight Howard camp regarding the controversy. In an issue as serious as this, people have to hear the sides of all the parties involved before jumping to any conclusive judgments.
Until then, we'll just have to wait how this story pans out, and how this will further affect the Dwight Howard narrative.
