Dwyane Wade may have failed to lead the Miami Heat to the playoffs in his final season, but he's surely enjoying every minute of his retirement.

Aside from drinking wine and playing golf, Wade is also keeping himself updated with what's happening in the NBA postseason. One of the first-round series he's paying close attention to is the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.

Apparently, he's rooting for the latter:

The Clippers have been really impressive against the Warriors in the playoffs. Although they're still down 3-2 in the series, both of their victories were phenomenal and fun to watch.

In Game 2, the Clippers overcame a 31-point deficit and came back to earn a 135-131 victory at Oracle Arena. Then they withstood a 45-point outing from Kevin Durant to win Game 5, 129-121, and extend the series.

Wade also gave major props to Clippers guard Patrick Beverley for all his efforts against the Warriors, especially on the defensive end:

Beverley had an impressive showing in Game 5, finishing with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists. He also hit five 3-pointers in the game. Yes, he hasn't been able to contain Durant lately, but he's doing all the little things for the Clippers in this series.

No one's really expecting the Clippers to advance to the second round, and despite their two spectacular wins, it's still likely they lose the series. But even if they do, they definitely will not go down without a fight.
