Now that he's officially retired from basketball, we'll never know if Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade could have posterized some of the biggest centers in today's game.

During Wade's AMA session with Bleacher Report on Friday, one NBA fan wondered if the high-flying D-Wade could have dunked over the tallest player in the league today, Boston Celtics' 7-foot-5 reserve center Tacko Fall.

D-Wade said he could have done so in his prime for sure.

Dwyane Wade, of course, has an impressive highlight reel of dunking over behemoths throughout his storied 16-year career. Guys like Jermaine O'Neal, Kevin Garnett, and Serge Ibaka were just some of his unfortunate victims.

However, it was his vicious poster jam against the 6-foot-11 Anderson Varejao in the 2009-10 season that remains as his most memorable one to this day.

Skying over Tacko Fall will indeed be a tall order (pun intended) considering he also possesses a ridiculous 8'2″ wingspan.

But the Orlando Magic's explosive athlete Aaron Gordon proved it was doable, as he flawlessly cleared the Senegalese beanpole in the 2020 SlamDunk Competition last February.

The case can be made that Wade might struggle since he is four inches shorter than Gordon. But judging by prime D-Wade's earlier highlights, he probably could have achieved the feat as well.

It's too bad that we don't have any additional references since Wade never participated in the SlamDunk contest during his career. “The Flash” has career averages of 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.

Fall, meanwhile, has rarely seen the floor for the Celtics in his first year in the pros. He notched 3.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in six appearances this season.
