The Los Angeles Lakers and the L.A. Clippers changed the landscape of the NBA with their blockbuster acquisitions this summer. Dwyane Wade knows this.

The Lakers acquired Anthony Davis in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans to form a superstar tandem with LeBron James in the Purple and Gold. The Clippers, likewise, shocked the entire world by winning the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes and acquiring Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder to form the Clamp Brothers on their side of the turf.

Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade couldn't hold back his excitement for the “movie” in Los Angeles, especially with son Zaire Wade and LeBron's son Bronny Jr. teaming up in Sierra Canyon this season.

This is Hollywood for a reason.

Los Angeles is finally back to relevance in the basketball world. Not only that, the City of Angels figures to be at the center of American sports media coverage in the 2019-20 season.

Both L.A. teams have a superstar pairing that will definitely put butts in the seats in Staples Center.

After losing out on the Kawhi sweepstakes, the Lakers have done a solid job in filling out the roster to surround their LeBron-A.D. superstar pairing.

The Clippers have retained most of their solid 2018-19 core, a group that features Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell. Dwyane Wade might not longer be an NBA player, which now enables him to be a fan, just like the rest of us, awaiting the amazing dramas which will soon unfold.

Both Hollywood squads have shot to the top of the championship picture next season. In fact, the Clippers and Lakers both open as prohibitive favorites to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy in June of 2020. AD-Bron vs. Kawhi-PG will happen four times in the coming regular season. Hopefully these two juggernaut teams will face off in a 7-game bloodbath in the 2020 postseason.

Dwyane Wade would love that.

Buckle up, L.A.

Enjoy the movie.
