Jonas Jerebko, who spent the past season with the Golden State Warriors, has signed with Russian team BC Khimki.

Per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, the 10-year NBA veteran will continue his basketball journey abroad with the Russian ball club. Last season with the Warriors, the Swedish national averaged 6.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 16.7 minutes in 73 games.

Jerebko, 32, also shared the good news on Twitter, saying that he is excited for the next chapter in his basketball career.

In a press release by BC Khimki, Jerebko spoke about continuing his journey in Russia and the prospect of going up against the best teams in Europe.

“I'm just excited about this great opportunity to play for one of the best teams in Europe,” Jerebko said. “I'm looking forward to playing in the top level in Europe after 10 years in the NBA. Playing against the best teams in the EuroLeague was obviously on my bucket list. I'm super excited about the opportunity of joining my teammates. I've obviously known everything about the team, and the coaches. We have great Russian players.”

Jerebko was the 39th overall pick in 2009 NBA Draft. He was part of the All-Rookie Second Team and has played for the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz and the Warriors.
