Google is the No.1 search engine in the world, and arguably the most influential enterprise on the Internet. However, that doesn’t mean Google is 100 percent mistake-free. A concrete example of this happened on Tuesday, as a simple Google search of ‘NBA Founder’ led everyone to the picture of LaVar Ball.

For a brief glorious moment, BBB’s very own patriarch was the founder of the National Basketball Association. One would ask if that was one of those ‘Easter Eggs’ tech guys at Google drop once in a while. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as a Google spokesperson told TMZ that they indeed committed a mistake while creating an online profile of Ball.

“Clearly we dropped the ball. Our team worked to address this issue quickly and within hours of being notified, we were able to fix the issue.”

After owning the internet in 2017 with his antics and over-the-top statements, Ball seems headed for another eventful 2018 with his popularity and BBB business booming. LaVar arrived in Lithuania with his sons, LaMelo and LiAngelo, on Wednesday, and it didn’t even take a second for Ball’s family to create a media frenzy in one of basketball’s biggest hot-beds.

LaMelo and LiAngelo are about to start their pro-basketball career for Lithuanian hoops powerhouse Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas. For LaVar, playing in Europe is just a stepping stone for his sons as they prepare for the big league. Ball stressed that the ultimate goal is still to remains the same: reunite all of his Ball sons within the Lakers organization.

“We'll go over there [to Lithuania] for a hot minute just to let 'em know before these boys get on the Lakers,” LaVar told TMZ Sports.
