When people talk about the best players in NBA history, the debate always becomes more heated than Klay Thompson when he scored 37 points in a quarter.

But usually, certain players always end up among a top five or 10 list. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and others are staples on those types of lists. Other players that usually end up on top 10 lists are Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan.

If you ask Doug Gottlieb of Fox Sports Radio, Bryant and Duncan are not deserving of being considered one of the best 10 players of all time, per Ry Cole of Bleacher Report.

Some of the names on Gottlieb's list make all the sense in the world. But some of them that would replace Bryant and Duncan are interesting to say the least.

For instance, Kevin Durant, whose career is not over yet and has only won one championship so far. For Durant to be on the list before Bryant or Duncan — both of whom won five championships each — is not only strange, but just plain wrong.

Duncan can and should be considered the best power forward of all time, which should easily place him in the top 10. Bryant is not the best shooting guard of all time — that honor goes to Jordan — but he's probably second and at most third.

Gottlieb is certainly entitled to his opinion, but it appears he may be ignoring certain aspects about Duncan and Bryant.
