The resumption of the 2019-20 NBA season is almost here. But if waiting until July 30 seems like too much to bear, fans can get a quick glimpse of their favorite team in action during the week-long inter-squad scrimmages, set to air live on NBA TV.
According to a Warner Media press release, the network will televise 16 inter-squad scrimmages, starting with a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 22 that features the Orlando Magic facing the Los Angeles Clippers at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets at 7 p.m.
Teams scheduled to face off will have no such encounters in the eight seeding games remaining in the NBA regular season, making this a truncated preseason before the action starts.
