The entire basketball world held a collective breath as soon as Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered what turned out to be a hyperextended knee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between his Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks. Players from around the league have taken to Twitter as they send their well wishes for the former back-to-back MVP.

Aside from Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, the likes of Ja Morant was one of the first people to react to the injury, and much like all of us, it was a mixed reaction of anger and hopefulness:

Newly-crowned Sixth Man of the Year winner Jordan Clarkson had a similar reaction as he sent his prayers for Giannis:

Other players from around the NBA had pretty much the same reaction to Antetokounmpo's unfortunate injury and they took to Twitter to join the rest of the basketball world in wishing for the Bucks superstar's speedy recovery:

Antetokounmpo immediately went to the locker room after the injury and he was clearly struggling to put some weight on the injured knee. After some time, the Bucks revealed the extend of the injury as they confirmed that Giannis would be unable to return to action.

The Bucks star is set to undergo more tests that will determine the severity of his knee issue. At this point, it remains unclear if Giannis Antetokounmpo will be able to suit up for Milwaukee for Game 5 on Thursday.

It is also worth noting that the Hawks were without Trae Young for Game 4 due to an ankle injury. His status for Game 5 also remains unclear right now.
