J. Cole just dropped his sixth studio album titled “The Off-Season” this Friday, and the whole NBA world is impressed.

Aside from Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who was sampled in the album, other NBA stars like Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young, and Washington Wizards scorer Bradley Beal also showed positive reactions to the new album.

For what it's worth, Morant was mentioned in one of the album's tracks titled “my.life,” with J. Cole rapping “Ja Morant, I’m on my Grizzly.” Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and triple-double machine Russell Westbrook were also cited in the album.

Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell also couldn't help but be amazed by the Dame soundbite in the album, while Detroit Pistons guard and former NBA lottery pick Dennis Smith Jr. called it album of the year.

Other NBA players are just as impressed as the others, and they made it known on Twitter.

With this kind of reaction coming from NBA stars and whole basketball community, it is safe to assume we'll be hearing a of of J. Cole's “The Off-Season” in the playoffs. Sure enough, it couldn't be  any more fitting that the 36-year-old rapper dropped it just a week before the biggest and most important stretch of the 2020-21 campaign.

Get ready for the NBA postseason. Just like J. Cole's album, it is surely going to be fire!
