NBA draft hopeful Bol Bol showed up to Thursday night's festivities rocking a Spider-themed suit, which caught the eyes of many draft night attendees. He also certainly caught the attention of Utah Jazz sophomore star Donovan Mitchell, who had something to say about the suit on Twitter.

Of course, everyone knows that Mitchell has taken ownership of the nickname “The Spida.” Surely, he won't allow a 19-year old rookie to steal that from him. Bol has to earn another moniker, similar to what Mitchell did in his impressive rookie season back in the 2017-18 season.

Many projected Bol, a 7-foot-2, 208-lb. center, to go in the first round. Some even thought that he was worthy of a top 10 selection. Unfortunately, the son of former NBA great, the late Manute Bol, slid through the second round of Thursday night's draft.

The Denver Nuggets eventually took their chances on the Khartoum, Sudan native, acquiring the draft rights to the 44th pick from the Miami Heat.

Bol's lone season in Oregon was cut short due to a foot injury. He played just nine games with averages of 21.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks. Despite his height, Bol can put the ball on the floor considerably well and can also shoot from the outside.

Nevertheless, the Nuggets made a low-risk, high-reward move in acquiring the pick that they eventually used to draft the Sudanese-American.

Should Bol get past his foot injury and remain healthy, Denver can use him as a versatile forward to pair with superstar center Nikola Jokic. His height, versatility, and ability to block shots can cover the Serbian star's deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball.

Mitchell, on the other hand, got some much-needed help in the Jazz backcourt. Utah recently acquired veteran point guard Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies to help ease the sophomore star's ball-handling duties.

With Conley on-board, Mitchell can now focus on doing what he does best: getting buckets.
