Former NBA coach  Jeff Van Gundy is good at a lot of things; however, dancing is apparently not so high on that list.

The 59-year-old ESPN commentator was calling the game between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center on Saturday–alongside his partner in crime Mark Jackson–when he decided to show off his dance moves.

JVG performed (or tried to) the running-man dance inside the booth. Instead, it led to a rather hilarious moment that NBA fans won't forget any time soon:

Jeff Van Gundy is a big Stephen Curry fan, so he's probably trying to get the same vibe when the Warriors star shimmies. Still, it's probably best for the former NBA head coach to leave the dancing to the professionals.

Curry and the Warriors eventually lost the exciting game to Luka Doncic and the Mavs, 134-132, despite the Dubs superstar's 57-point explosion. Doncic led Dallas with a splendid showing of his own, finishing with 42 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists.

Van Gundy, meanwhile, was linked to several vacant NBA head coaching positions in the offseason. He last worked the sidelines as the bench boss for the Houston Rockets for four campaigns from 2003 to 2007. From the looks of it though, he is enjoying his commentating job a bit too much and has no desire to leave the booth for now.
